Foxwynd Foundation Investment Helps Deliver Dreams

Foxwynd Foundation Investment Helps St. Vincent de Paul CARES Accelerate Family Housing Transitions

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

St. Vincent de Paul CARES Receives Support from Foxwynd Foundation to Help Families Transition Out of Homelessness

St. Petersburg, FL [March 30, 2026] | St. Vincent de Paul CARES (SVdP CARES) has received a $30,000 grant from the Foxwynd Foundation to support its Delivering Dreams program, an initiative that helps individuals and families transitioning from homelessness turn an empty apartment into a stable and dignified home. This grant was made possible through the Foxwynd Foundation DAF.

The Delivering Dreams program provides essential household items and stabilization resources such as beds, furniture, kitchen supplies, transportation assistance, and job-related support that are often not covered by traditional housing funding but are critical to long-term stability.

The grant will help serve approximately 40 households across Florida, providing the resources needed for families, individuals, and veterans to establish safe and sustainable housing.

At SVdP CARES, we believe housing ends homelessness, but stability comes from the support that follows,” said Michael Raposa, CEO of St. Vincent de Paul CARES. “Programs like Delivering Dreams help ensure that when someone receives the keys to a home, they also receive the tools and resources needed to truly thrive.”

Delivering Dreams is designed to bridge the gap between housing placement and long-term independence. By providing essential household goods, employment support, and community connections, the program helps families rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.

Through this investment, the Foxwynd Foundation is helping strengthen the foundation for long-term housing success and reduce the risk of families returning to homelessness.

Foxwynd Foundation is proud to support organizations like St. Vincent de Paul CARES that understand true stability requires more than housing alone. We believe lasting change happens when individuals and families are not only sheltered, but also equipped with the practical support and dignity they need to move forward with confidence.”

– Jenn Hebert | Trustee of the Foxwynd Foundation

Since 2013, SVdP CARES has helped thousands of individuals and families transition from homelessness into permanent housing through its housing-first approach and comprehensive wraparound services.
