Volunteer Opportunities
St. Vincent de Paul CARES is eternally grateful for the hundreds of volunteers who dedicate their time each year to serving those affected by homelessness. Our volunteers are indispensable to the programs we offer.

Volunteers are often needed at our Administrative office in St. Petersburg, as well as our field offices in Central and Southwest Florida.
Tasks include filing data entry, answering and placing phone calls, and stuffing envelopes.

Individual volunteers are needed to assist in preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Individuals must make a weekly commitment.
Group volunteers are needed to sponsor and serve meals on evenings and weekends and must make a monthly commitment.

What is the criteria needed to volunteer?
St. Vincent de Paul CARES reserves the right to conduct a background screening for all volunteers.
Because you will be working among our clients and/or customers, we will require some basic information about you, which assures the best possible program and safety for all.
