A New School Year Begins at Home | Help Families Find Stable Housing

A New School Year Begins at Home | Help Families Find Stable Housing

As a new school year begins, every child deserves the opportunity to focus on learning, growing, and pursuing their dreams. Thanks to compassionate supporters like you, families can begin the school year with the stability, confidence, and peace of mind that come with having a place to call home.

Your support helps provide housing stability and personalized services for families, individuals, and veterans working toward long-term success and independence. Through your generosity, children can start the school year ready to learn, parents can focus on building a stronger future, and families can move forward with renewed hope.

Open the Door to New Beginnings

Your generosity helps families secure stable housing and take the next step toward lasting independence and success.

Ashanti’s Inspiring Story

One inspiring example is Ashanti and her five children.

A proud U.S. Army Veteran, Ashanti has always been dedicated to serving others and caring for her family. After navigating significant life challenges and relocating to Florida in search of new opportunities, she was connected with St. Vincent de Paul CARES.

From the moment she entered the program, Ashanti embraced every opportunity available to her. Working alongside her case manager and housing team, she remained focused on creating a stable future for her children.

That commitment paid off when Ashanti and her family moved into a beautiful three-bedroom home.

Today, her children have a place where they can study, play, and prepare for the school year with confidence. The family is building new routines, creating lasting memories, and looking forward to the future together.

Ashanti continues working toward employment and long-term self-sufficiency while providing a strong example of determination and resilience for her children.

Her case manager shares:

“Ashanti’s commitment to her family and her goals is truly inspiring. She approaches every opportunity with faith, determination, and a desire to build a positive future for her children. Stable housing provides an important foundation that supports her continued success.”

I’m grateful to St. Vincent de Paul CARES and everyone who supported my family. Having a place to call home has given us stability and the opportunity to focus on our future.”

Ashanti – U.S. Army Veteran

Last fiscal year, St. Vincent de Paul CARES helped 3,557 young people and their families take important steps toward housing stability and a brighter future.

As another school year begins, your gift can help more families, individuals, and veterans access the support and resources they need to build lasting success.

Together, we can create opportunities, strengthen families, and help more people move toward a future filled with hope and possibility.

Sincerely,

St. Vincent de Paul CARES
