The Day Center of St. Vincent de Paul Society officially opened its doors March 31, 2014. It is open daily to give respite to the poor and distressed homeless of every race and creed.
Providing showers is one of the services that our homeless can take advantage of at the Day Center. We have tallied 780 showers for the month of May. This is just the beginning and we anticipate that this number will continue to grow. As this number grows we are in dire need of donations to keep this program running! Any little bit will help and if needed we can make arrangements to pick up donations.
We are in need of the following items:
Towels**
Shampoo (2in1)**
Socks and Underwear
Woman’s hygiene products
Deodorant
Small Toothpaste
Razors
Shower Slips (sandals)
Men’s Clothing
